About
I am a Staff Scientist in the Department of Integrative Structural and Computational Biology at The Scripps Research Institute, La Jolla, CA, where I am a member of the Forli Lab. My research focuses on computational drug discovery, structure-based drug design, and the development of open-source scientific software for molecular modeling.
I received my Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from the National University of La Plata (Argentina), where my doctoral work focused on the discovery of novel antiepileptic agents acting on ion channels. My research integrates ligand- and structure-based computational techniques to address unmet therapeutic needs across diverse disease areas, including epilepsy, infectious and neglected tropical diseases, and cancer.
